DMU Made Freelancing and Entrepreneurship Awards 2025/26 ✨ Creative Industry Awards WINNER 🏆 Thank you for this award DMU Made (Simon Baines, Tamara Meahan, Patrick McLintock). It truly means a lot, especially as the first recognition for what I do. The idea for my business started while I was studying at De Montfort University. As someone from Poland living here in the UK , I realised how rare it was to see Polish films represented in the way that they deserve to be, despite Polish cinema being incredibly rich and internationally recognised. UK’s diversity really inspired me to create something that connects cultures. Through Stork Pictures UK, as a distributor and a cultural platform my goal is to make Polish cinema more accessible, and celebrated- both for Polish communities living in the UK and for wider audiences who might be discovering it for the very first time. Thank you to everyone who has supported this journey so far. Thank you to my business partner Hiu Man Chan, who from the start to this very day has supported and believed in me, even when sometimes I wasn’t quite sure it’s all going to be fine.
